
JIEVARAS JASINSKISS
Jievaras Jasinskis is a Lithuanian composer, conductor, arranger, trombonist and music producer working across jazz, contemporary, and interdisciplinary music fields. He is the founder and artistic director of Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble.
His work is defined by a strong focus on original composition and experimentation, often blending jazz with electronic, classical, and popular music influences. Jasinskis is an active creator of large-scale programs as well as smaller ensemble works. Over the course of his career, he has written around 2,000 arrangements, reflecting both his versatility and extensive experience across different musical formats and contexts.
As a performer, he appears both as a soloist and ensemble musician. As a conductor and arranger, he has led numerous projects ranging from concert productions to interdisciplinary performances, working with both established artists and emerging musicians.
Alongside his artistic career, Jasinskis is also active in education as a lecturer, sharing his knowledge in composition, arrangement, and contemporary music practices.
His artistic approach is rooted in building a contemporary sound that reflects both local identity and international context, while also contributing to the development of the Lithuanian music ecosystem through collaborations, education, and strategic cultural initiatives.
